Over to the right is a presentation of a character exploration I worked on last semester. The project lasted ten weeks, and was super fun! Our assignment was to basically develop a series of moodboards based on our likes and interests, and then to develop the images, from said moodboards, into character designs. I, of course, chose to focus on 80s hair metal, ghosts, and drag in my boards, which then turned into the lovely character, Biqtch Styxx; Biqtch Styxx, a ghost from the 80s, tries to continue their band, Twisted Fister, in the afterlife. Their bandmate, (Anne Thraxxia), spirit medium (Pimple Baby), and giant maggot (Gene, who has been feasting on their corpse) team up with Biqtch in order to make their dream happen! All of the steps of development, from writing to rendering, and from sketching to toy spinoffs, are shown in the slideshow on the tv! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
